Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:FTR), headquartered in
Stamford, Connecticut, announced today that it has been included in the Marcum
Tech Top 40 list of Connecticut’s fastest growing technology firms.
Frontier was recognized in the New Media/Internet/Telecom category of
the list, which is sponsored by The Connecticut Technology Council (CTC)
and Marcum LLP.
Now in its seventh year, the Marcum Tech Top 40 recognizes technology
leaders in six industry sectors, including Advanced Manufacturing,
Energy/Environmental, Life Sciences, New Media/Internet/Telecom, IT
Services, and Software.

Frontier Communications has agreed to acquire AT&T's wireline business
and statewide fiber network serving residential, commercial and
wholesale customers in Connecticut. As part of the transaction, Frontier
will also acquire AT&T's U-verse video and satellite TV customers in
Connecticut. The transaction is expected to be completed in the
fourth-quarter of 2014. Upon completion of the acquisition, Connecticut
will become Frontier’s 28th and largest operating state.
