STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
Frontier Communications Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR) today announced key
appointments designed to expand and strengthen the leadership of its new
East Region. The East Region currently comprises New York and
Pennsylvania. The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority has
issued a draft ruling in favor of Frontier’s proposed acquisition of
AT&T's wireline business, statewide fiber network, and U-verse video and
satellite TV operations in the state. The acquisition is expected to be
completed during the fourth-quarter of 2014, at which time Connecticut
will become part of Frontier’s East Region.
Ken
Arndt is President of the East Region and headquartered in New
Haven, Connecticut. His direct reports include:
Paul Quick, Senior Vice President and General Manager, ConnecticutOperations – As announced July 23, 2014, Mr.
Quick will oversee field operations, residential and commercial
sales, and every aspect of the customer experience in Connecticut. He is
based in Hartford, Frontier's state headquarters. Most recently he was
Senior Vice President and General Manager of Frontier's
Pennsylvania operations.
Angela Christian, Regional Director, Human Resources – Ms.
Christian is responsible for all Human Resources activities in the East
Region and for all HR issues related to Information Technology and
Engineering throughout the company’s footprint. Her career at Frontier
includes software design management, management of network operations
call centers, plant service centers and residential and business call
centers as well as field experience as a General Manager in the Greater
Rochester (N.Y.) Area. Ms. Christian is based in Rochester and may be

Kira Howell, Regional Vice President, Marketing – Ms. Howell is
responsible for all Regional Marketing activities, including brand
awareness, customer acquisition and retention strategies, go-to-market
plans, and new product introductions. She joined Frontier in 2011 and
most recently was Director, Corporate Acquisition and Brand Marketing.
Her career includes account management, media planning, data analysis
and new media channels at Synapse Group, Inc. in Stamford. Prior to
joining Frontier she was Vice President of the Advertisement and Media
Divisions of Main Street Direct, a multi-channel acquisition and
retention marketing company. She earned a B.A. from Roger Williams

Ken Mason, Regional Vice President, Business Operations – Mr.
Mason is responsible for ensuring the East Region meets its business
objectives by monitoring financial analyses and trends within the
region, evaluating potential business opportunities, and ensuring the
region’s prudent use of resources. Mr. Mason joined Frontier in 1996 and
has more than 20 years of experience in wireline and wireless
communications in the areas of budgeting, finance, sales and marketing.
Most recently, he served as Vice President, Government and Regulatory
Affairs for the company. In 2013, he was appointed to the board of the
Universal Service Administrative Company, an independent, not-for-profit
corporation designated by the Federal Communications Commission as the
administrator of universal service. Mr. Mason earned a Bachelor’s degree
from St. Bonaventure University and a Masters of Business Administration
degree from the State University of New York-Empire State College. He

Dave Snyder, Regional Vice President, Engineering – Mr. Snyder
manages all aspects of capital investment in the East Region, including
capital deployment, network planning, engineering and construction. He
was responsible for establishing the overall company network plan from
the national data backbone to the end-use customer. His experience with
the company began in 1988 as an Associate Engineer for Outside Plant for
the-then CONTEL of New York. His expertise in network and area planning,
trouble analysis and all facets of engineering and capital management
led to positions of increasing responsibility throughout New York State
and the East Region. He earned an Associate degree in Applied Science,
Data Engineering from the State University of New York (SUNY),
Cobleskill and a B.S. in Telecommunications from SUNY IT in Ithaca. Mr.

Cyn Stehouwer, Regional Vice President, Operations - Ms.
Stehouwer is responsible for developing new areas for growth and
improvement for the East Region. Working with other region leaders, she
is focused on maximizing growth and profitability. She manages all
operations functions including budget spending, labor and material
efficiencies, and new areas of technology and customer service. Critical
parts of Ms. Stehouwer’s role are managing performance against operating
plans, analyzing market conditions, and leading the Plant Service
Centers (Dispatch and Assignment) for the region.
Ms. Stehouwer has 28 years of industry experience and joined Frontier in
2010 as Director of Operations to lead the successful conversion to
Frontier systems of Verizon operations in 13 states. She has been an
integral part of the Connecticut AT&T acquisition and is leading the
system, network, video, customer, employee and operational transition.
Ms. Stehouwer earned a double major B.S. in Business Administration
(Marketing and Human Resources) from the University of California at
Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She will be based in New Haven and
