released results of its 2013 Measuring Broadband America—February report.The report contains the most recent results from the FCC’s Measuring
Broadband America program.This program, whose first results were
published in August 2011, is an ongoing, rigorous, nationwide study of
residential broadband performance in the United States.

Frontier Communications’ Corporation (NASDAQ: FTR) commitment to
bringing broadband to rural America was amply demonstrated in the FCC’s
latest “Measuring Broadband America” report, released today. The report
offers a summary of residential broadband testing of speeds offered by
Internet Service Providers (ISPs) across the country. Frontier’s
performance was found to have improved 13% over the results in the
previous report and was highlighted in the FCC report.

many of these areas.
Among the states with the highest broadband turns ups are West Virginia
(158,000), Michigan (157,358) and Illinois (101,799). Frontier is keenly
