Daniel McCarthy
President and Chief Executive Officer
Daniel McCarthy With Frontier Communications since 1990

Daniel J. McCarthy became President and Chief Executive Officer of Frontier Communications in April 2015. He was elected to the Frontier Board of Directors in May 2014. Prior to becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, he held other positions of increasing responsibility at the Company, including President and Chief Operating Officer (April 2012 to April 2015), Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (January 2006 to April 2012) and Senior Vice President, Field Operations (December 2004 to December 2005).

He earned a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York Maritime College at Fort Schuyler and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix.

Mr. McCarthy serves as a Trustee of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. and of Foundations in Education for the Diocese of Bridgeport, Conn.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Western Connecticut Health Network, the Board of Directors of the Business Council of Fairfield County, and a member of the Business Roundtable.

Mr. McCarthy is a member of the Board of Directors of Constellation Brands, Inc.



Kenneth A. Arndt
Executive Vice President, Commercial Sales Operations
Kenneth Arndt With Frontier Communications since 2003

Kenneth Arndt is Executive Vice President of Commercial Sales Operations, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Arndt previously had oversight of Frontier’s operations in Connecticut, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 
 
Since joining the company in 2003, Mr. Arndt has held numerous strategic leadership positions in all aspects of operations, sales, customer care, Internet customer support, products and services and employee training and management. 
 
Before joining Frontier, Mr. Arndt served as Vice President of Marketing for Lucent Technologies and Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Commonwealth Telephone Company in Pennsylvania. 
 
Mr. Arndt holds a B.S. in Marketing from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and an M.B.A. in Marketing from St. John College, Middlesex School of Business, in London.
 


Steve Gable
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Steve Gable

Steve Gable became Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in April 2015.  He joined Frontier Communications in November 2012 as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Prior to Frontier, Mr. Gable was Executive Vice President/CTO of Tribune Company. At the same time, he was President, Tribune Digital, with expanded responsibility for the strategy and supporting technology that powered the company’s digital brands latimes.com and chicagotribune.com.

From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Gable was Senior Vice President and CTO of Tribune Company, responsible for all aspects of information technology systems for its TV and newspaper operations.

Before this, Mr. Gable served as Vice President of Technology for Clear Channel Radio, responsible for the technology strategy and direction of 1200+ radio stations.

He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Systems from Northwestern University. 



Christopher D. Levendos
Executive Vice President, Field Operations
Christopher Levendos With Frontier Communications since 2017

Chris Levendos is Executive Vice President of Field Operations for Frontier Communications, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer.  He joined Frontier on June 1, 2017 and is a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team.

Mr. Levendos is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of field operations, related customer-care and sales operations, and business-support functions.  He is focused on maximizing Frontier’s fiber-optic and copper networks to expand their reach and increase speed capabilities, on product-development and innovation processes, and the reduction of overall operating expenses. 

Prior to joining Frontier, Mr. Levendos headed Google Fiber’s Network Deployment and Operations organization. Before that, he spent 26 years at Verizon, last serving as Region Vice President for its New York City wireline operations.  He began his career with Verizon in 1989 and held positions of increasing operational and engineering responsibility.  Notably, he led the massive restoration of Verizon’s network infrastructure in lower Manhattan that was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy.

Mr. Levendos is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh.  He earned a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from New York University and a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from Stevens Institute of Technology.



John Maduri
Executive Vice President, Consumer Sales, Marketing & Product

John Maduri became Executive Vice President, Consumer Sales, Marketing & Product of Frontier Communications on July 24, 2017.  He has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
 
Most recently, Mr. Maduri was President of Cable & Wireless Communications’ Commercial Business Unit, responsible for the creation and growth of that key operating segment in the Caribbean and Latin America. From 2005 to 2013, Mr. Maduri was CEO of Xplornet Communications Inc., where he built the business from a start-up into Canada's leading rural broadband provider. 
 
Mr. Maduri served as president of Telus, a $9.7B telecommunications company in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, from 2000 to 2004. He was directly responsible for all sales channels, marketing, product management, delivery, and customer support.  Prior to joining Telus, Mr. Maduri held positions of increasing responsibility with Rogers Communications, Canada's largest publicly-traded national wireless services provider. His positions included Executive Vice President, Finance and Planning, and Chief Financial Officer.
 
He began his career as a Senior Auditor at the Toronto office of Price Waterhouse.
 
Mr. Maduri holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from York University in Toronto.  
 


R. Perley McBride
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
R. McBride

R. Perley McBride became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Frontier Communications Corporation on November 4, 2016.  He has more than 20 years of experience in financial roles in the communications industry, including more than a decade at Frontier.

Most recently, Mr. McBride was CFO of Cable & Wireless Communications Plc and a member of its Board of Directors until its May 2016 acquisition by Liberty Global plc. Before that, he served as Executive Vice President at Leap Wireless International, which operated the Cricket Communications mobile brand, and was part of the Executive team that led the business’ acquisition by AT&T Inc. Earlier, as an Executive Vice President of Finance at The Weather Company, owner of The Weather Channel among other assets, he was instrumental in achieving sustained EBITDA growth and reducing leverage.

Between 1999 to 2010, and between 1994 and 1997, Mr. McBride held senior financial roles at Frontier Communications (formerly Citizens Communications), including Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. He created a culture of expense discipline that enabled Frontier to achieve a consistent track record of sustaining industry-leading margins.

Early in his career, he held Accounting and Finance roles at Sprint PCS (now Sprint Corporation).

Mr. McBride holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Canada’s Mount Allison University and an M.B.A from the University of Houston.



Mark D. Nielsen
Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer
Mark Nielsen With Frontier Communications since 2014

Mark D. Nielsen is Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of Frontier Communications. In this position, Nielsen has leadership responsibility for the company's legal and regulatory affairs, facilities and real estate operations, and corporate communications. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, he participates in the operational management and strategic planning of the Company.
 
Nielsen started his legal career in 1990 as an associate lawyer at the Hartford law firm of Murtha, Cullina, Richter & Pinney, while simultaneously serving in the Connecticut Legislature. Later, he served as Mitt Romney's legal counsel, and then chief of staff, when Romney was Governor of Massachusetts (2003–2007). As Chief Legal Counsel, Nielsen provided advice on legal aspects of policy decisions, drafted legislation and executive orders, and served as the Governor's principal advisor on judicial appointments. As Chief of Staff, he was responsible for the Administration's policy and legislative initiatives, as well as overseeing the daily operations of state government.
 
Before joining Frontier in 2014, Nielsen served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Raytheon Company from 2007 to 2009 and Vice President and Associate General Counsel at Praxair, Inc. from 2009 to 2014.
 
Nielsen is an honors graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.


Kathleen Weslock
Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer
Kathleen Weslock

Kathleen Weslock joined Frontier Communications as Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer on July 13, 2015. She reports to Daniel J. McCarthy, President and Chief Executive Officer, and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

Ms. Weslock oversees all aspects of human resources, including strategic direction and daily operations. She is responsible for labor relations, transformation and growth.

An experienced global HR executive, Ms. Weslock has worked in many countries around the world. Most recently, as Senior Vice President/Chief Human Resources Officer at Cisco Systems, Inc., she was responsible for setting the agenda for business and HR transformation, with a focus on Talent, Leadership, Culture and Organizational Effectiveness.

Ms. Weslock began her career in Human Resources with GTE, now Verizon, in multiple roles leading to Manager of Labor Relations. Prior positions included overseeing HR in the Far East and Latin America for GTE Sylvania, the company's lighting division at that time.

Joining Mercer Human Resources Consulting as Principal of International Practice, she guided Fortune 500 companies through global mergers and acquisitions. At Mercer, she was considered an expert in global executive compensation and equity programs. She then joined Covance as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer, supporting 10,000 employees.

At the global law firm of Shearman & Sterling, Ms. Weslock was the first Director of Global Human Resources, leading multiple HR initiatives integrating diverse HR functions and providing expertise in expatriate management and global HR. Joining Deloitte as Director of Human Resources, Financial Advisory Services, she worked as a member of the leadership team to grow the practice, both in terms of recruitment and employee retention. Later, as Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer & Internal Communications at SunGard Data Systems, she built the HR division into a strategically- focused function.

Ms. Weslock holds a JD from Pace University School of Law, a Masters from the Industrial Labor Relations School at Cornell University, and a Bachelors from Hood College. She is active in a multitude of professional Boards and organizations and has been awarded some of the top recognitions in the industry for her companies.
